Shoebill

I genuinely did not think this thing was real for years and I still think it might be a psyop

cool as fuck

like Big Bird's scary cousin who did a stint in the big house

Fascinating creature and beautiful bird!

did you guys know they can loaf

Great. I like. Too many people think they are scary but those posts on twitter blew up so everyone realizes how cute they are now. Thank shoe (if i am not mistaken, the individual in this photo is a female named asante! she's from ueno zoo in tokyo. isn't she cute???)

Reminds me of big bird!

one of my favorite animals

Very scary

i love you

Awesome

can be adorable and intimidating looking. LOVE a girl with range. also friendly to humans which is always awesome

lovable creature

somehow both the cutest and the most intimidating bird of them all

heheee yaayyy yaayyyyy yaaaaaaaaaayy

all terror birds (phorusrhacidae) are great and shoebills remind me of them. unfortunately they are not terror birds. therefore they are not as great.

makes me think of skyward sword

Big fan

i think this was kind of a "trendy animal" a while back, and honestly it is pretty cool so fair enough

pretty much the goat of all time

love this guy

just a great bird. everything the way it should be

Good bird

v good name

what a swell guy

Unbelievable..

when me and my sister were high once she saw one of these on tv and got scared. she said it was "crab level" (as scary as a crab)
