no thanks, i dont like it. youtube video isn't a concept. instead, please add wikitionary links. I wish to rate things such as "boob window" which has wikitionary page but not wikipedia page. good website thank you!

overkill

I like this idea but it does kind of contradict the Concept idea

+1 for wiktionary

Wiktionary, but also consider Etymonline

overkill, but make a separate site for it. would really love!

i have dreamed of a site like this for youtube videos for a very long time and this community would be among the better audiences for it. but i agree with those commenting that it would dilute the purpose of this website. my hope is that you create a second website for youtube videos. if you do i would like for it to incorporate a "random video" button

Would be interesting, but maybe would degrade into youtube comments.... I mean, if you want to comment on videos, you could do it on the site itself or on another social media site. If you were to add this feature, may as well throw in the towel and just allow original posting too.

please no

Overkill

Not for this site, but I would KILL for something like this as its own website

no to YouTube videos, but expanding the database beyond Wikipedia (someone mentioned Wikitionary) or a page creation function with a local wiki would fill in the gaps left by Wikipedia

i second the idea of this being its own site, which i think would be insanely fun and popular

I also like the idea of this being its own site, cool concept but way too much for this one

i think most people are using compend in a slightly tongue-in-cheek sort of way but i would sincerely start logging and reviewing video essays if such a website existed

The YouTube video thing would be pretty cool as its own webbed site !!
