remains the best "monsters have powers" media property. other games can be more interesting to play but don't posess the same solid creature design consistency: where while again, in other franchises, the monsters can be more "cool" or visually complex, i prefer a good toon, and it onboarded me into my own brand of "furrydom" and subsequent avenues of expression and self discovery. cursed by God to attract the most repetitive same old critiques but it's not like it doesn't deserve it. it's just odd that typically more can't be said. "it just sucks these days" every day for 15 years

The Pokémon Company International could scrape some sludge off the ground and say it’s the newest mainline Pokemon game and I’d probably buy it. I’m a shameless whore for this franchise.
I've been informed that this is a 'video game' franchise. I do NOT support violence! Stephen, scratch that investment. Put that money into those 'Yogioh' cards instead! - From, Dick.
i genuinely truly do not know what my life would look like without the impact this series has had on it. i don’t even feel like i could “review” it fairly in its totality, but it’s a lovely concept for a socially-tuned RPG that blossomed into a one of a kind multimedia art project that has brought millions together. the more you suspend your disbelief and meet pokemon on its level, the more you will get out of it.
