awesome random pull

possibly the most well-playtested game i’ve ever played. the fact there is a tcg that has gone for almost 30 years with only one true and proper Standard Format Ban is astounding. best game for self-mill enjoyers when they allow the strategy to be good. cube/draft/limited is criminally underplayed.

i genuinely truly do not know what my life would look like without the impact this series has had on it. i don’t even feel like i could “review” it fairly in its totality, but it’s a lovely concept for a socially-tuned RPG that blossomed into a one of a kind multimedia art project that has brought millions together. the more you suspend your disbelief and meet pokemon on its level, the more you will get out of it.

kris…….

“i’d like to walk around in your mind” and “glow worms” are such beautiful songs
