i think the coldness is the real killer because i'm having mint chocolate right now which tastes fine but i think mint chocolate chip ice cream is a step too far on the mintyness of it all. unlike most mint chocochip dislikers i don't think it tastes like toothpaste but i think the fun draw of mint is that cold feeling which the ice cream already gives you by default so mint in the mint is adding nothing to the experience
