an incredible program
11/5/2026ouuuuuhhhhhhhh one of my favorites. surpassed only by peppermint which is largely seasonal.
11/4/2026i don't really like using these in personal communication. my wife is always telling me to insert them. it just feels fake.
11/4/2026i love his concept of "ecstatic truth", which i sum up as the necessary artifice you manufacture in service of a greater artistic truth. google that.
11/4/2026every band i know in brooklyn is indebted to this band in some way, shape, or form.
11/4/2026it's a lot
11/4/2026putting one of these near a window is one of the easiest ways to improve your life
11/4/2026a pretty bad place to be, howeve the alternative (the fire) is SO much worse. but we rarely anticpate going from one to the other, and that's the tragedy of it all.
11/4/2026i'm on the fence about these. i'm always a little self-conscious about how many or how few of these i use in my written communication.
11/4/2026when properly maintianed and nurtured, these are some of the best things ever. it's best when they function as miniature, balanced ecosystems.
11/4/2026THE GREATEST TOOL OF ALL TIME! no one cares about what you put in it but you. but that is liberating.
11/4/2026a really special man. his book "catching the big fish" is something i return to every few years.
11/4/2026thank god i never heard anyone say this shit before.
11/4/2026cuts your mouth the fuck up but it feels AMAZING
11/4/2026these are pretty fun. people who don't have them alway seem to have opinions about them. the more you get you simultaneously get more and less serious about them. it's pretty interesting. some are excruciating but others don't hurt that bad.
11/4/2026i shouldn't admit this but i kinda like these more than i like guitars...
11/4/2026gorgeous things.
11/4/2026i love his website.
11/4/2026fuck these.
11/4/2026i really treasure mine. they're usually incredibly vivid and detailed. and i typically remember them for while. i'm usually at their mercy though. one time i was able to lucid dream. i used that opportunity to fly.
11/4/2026a really beautiful game, but like many games, it attracts hyper-competative, annoying, antisocial people with really weird egos. i prefer to approach gameplay like a dance and talk openly about what i'm doing with my opponent and share strategies.
11/4/2026i will rarely turn down a chance to make/eat this. it's super easy to make. and if you put it on a nice big soft roll with a piece of provolone cheese and broil it... mamma mia.
11/4/2026i've listened to every episode of this multiple times. not sure if i'm proud or ashamed of that. they perfected the "friendship simulator" genre of podcast. wives really hate it.
11/4/2026something about this place... i like their products, and the prices are reasonable.
11/4/2026people are performatively "disgusted" by this. the production of this substance is one of the defining traits of our class. get over it.
11/4/2026really easy and fun to make with various sound making technologies
11/4/2026this is probably one of the most important things you can do.
11/4/2026really yummy. although if i keep them in the house there's a non zero chance my wife will eat them in bed, which will piss me off.
11/4/2026he's my favorite artist of all time.
11/4/2026he seems like a really effective team leader/manager/boss. there's a youtube series where he talks about how to make games but it secretly is a pretty approachable curriculum on leadership.
11/4/2026easily one of the most absurdly effective songs ever. it really affects me.
11/4/2026necromancy (the illustion of life) i really like it - although i kinda hate children's animation. i usually feel like it's pretty condescending.
11/4/2026a seriously awesome game and best enjoyed via the PC/Dreamcast port
11/4/2026doesn't really happen to black people
11/4/2026i quite like mine even though she is a bit of a freeloader.
11/4/2026seriously wonderful if you actually celebrate it properly - 23 days of somber reflection and a pinch of melancholy during advent and 12 days of hedonism and relaxation in preparation for the bullshit of the coming winter.
11/4/2026i've never been here but it seems really up my alley.
11/4/2026it's shit. but also as a concept this is kinda cope. creativity is work and if you're serious you often have to do it even when you don't want to. discipline. you mostly just have to get off your phone.
11/4/2026my favorite easily accessible yogurt brand
11/4/2026i usually prefer to skip this. sometimes that means i eat a little too much at dinner. if my day is going well and i'm busy/stimulated, i don't usually get too hungry till later. however, if a day is leisurly, this can be a really really great thing. especially with someone interesting.
11/4/2026art is about life and this is the thing that makes it! so it's pretty interesting when it is in films.
