the blue and white is very sleek. i admire the tenacity and ability to fuck with you by mimicking things, but minus some points for always throwing seeds on the ground at my bird feeders. little rude.

befriended a blue jay off the porch of my grandmothers northern california (shasta county -- coffee creak, specifically) cabin when I was eight or nine . ingeniously named it "jay." it took peanuts out my hand and flew back to its branch to break it on the limb. definitely smart creatures, unfortunately they do not quit their incessant squawking.
