I think this warrants a lot of further academic study and I'd be interested in somehow figuring out the taxonomy that would place it alongside more highbrow experimental film that is essentially doing the same thing. There's no reason why a feature length Youtube Poop is different from Everything is Terrible or Mom and Dad Go to the Bad House, aside from deliberate outsider tone and reference pool.

I have so many fond memories of youtube poop. A beautiful mixture of genuine creativity and dumb jokes. Feel like one of the internet trends that will forever be around. The more niche it is the more you feel connected to certain communities.

i miss a series of ytp-s of a local show which must have been taken offline by force. i never downloaded them. possibly lost media but i mustn't lose hope just yet.

i haven't watched a youtube poop in well over a decade, but i have very fond memories of watching them as a child. when i was in elementary school, my friends and i would share URLs for our favorite youtube poops on scraps of notebook paper at lunch and watch them once we got home... a lovely experience. i haven't kept in touch with any of those people but i hope they're doing well. ^_^
