my buddy worked at a subway one time and there was a problem with the long clinical rod type flourescent light bulbs that lit the ingredient counter from the ceiling. so he got out his ladder and opened up the hatch in the ceiling to remove the lightbulb and the lightbulb slammed onto the counter and shattered into all the ingredients. boss told him DON'T throw it all away, just pick out the shards of glass from the lettuce and onions and so on. this and many other oversights from the subway corporation is why i do not eat at subway

Just learned about this guy. Be careful when you eat a sandwich and think about your actions before you make them. Use the time when eating a sandwich to plan out your next moves and perform the necessary mental calculation for good and well-intentioned decisions. Cautionary tale.
