can you imagine how fucked a world without regret would be. negative emotions get stomped on all the time but they define the curve of life just as much as positive ones, and they make a very delicate rollercoaster called humans. one little thing is off balance and we get up to all sorts. im sure you know this somewhere within thyself

Regret has parasitized my entire life. A small portion of my life belongs to me, and the larger portion belongs to my regrets. At the same time, the intensity of my regrets has something to do, I'm pretty sure, with the intensity of my imagination. All that time imagining things otherwise. My dad always says, 'My only regret--is having regrets.' He says it a lot. I find it annoying.
