My colleague loves these funky little freaks. I disprefer them, personally. I don't like the idea of them being close to me. Or on me. But I recognize they are an incredibly diverse category of creature. Apparently they are incredibly under-studied proportional to how much there is to learn about them. They probably know a lot of things we don't.

i'm myself terrified of these little critters but i don't think such issues could be held intrinsic to them. the bigger ones bring me quite much joy!

these guys are looking out for you ok they're fucking up cockroaches and other annoying bugs and have zero interest in bothering you ever. man's other best friend

Sometimes they put their webs where I’m trying to hike and it feels bad to have their webs on my face. Other than that they’re really cool
