masterBacteriaFantastic bird. Beautiful, artistic, cryptic things that tromp upon our forest floors. Enchanting eye placement gives this bird a huge range of vision. I am partial to shorebirds, and this one lives in a novel habitat. Surprisingly, it makes it way to midtown Manhattan every year, where individual birds have become local celebrities. Sadly, I have yet to meet one in person.
