emerуwe're in an on-and-off-again relationship with no hard feelings. best used grudgingly. i get that its prose is tired, but i love many of its platform functionalities: tags, profile customization, built-in ask boxes, etc. it's the only major socmed i can think of with no automatic "read more" cut, which is nice as a poster and terrible as a scroller. i always disliked the way side blogs work. good place for smaller communities that don't need to be private.
