comfort food

my favorite liquor of all. It has a reputation for being "yucky", people say it's too bitter, or too minty, it's compared to mallort of all things. i think these people they drink it wrong, it must be sipped slowly, taken at room temperature, after a meal. it washes the flavor of food out of your mouth and helps you digest. leaves a wonderful refreshing aftertaste. it is also the best drink for drinking alone in bitter sadness as it cleans the mind body and soul. it is a stalwart companion who says nothing as you cry into her shoulder. just gives you a meaningful look. a look that says, yes, life is miserable, there's no changing that, but i am here too, we are here together, and when you lean against me, i will not budge.
