my preferred means of communication. i like to read them in my terminal with aerc. i feel connected to the history of the computer user. i even like emailing someone who is in the same room as me.

Beginner loadout is terrible but once you get good and develop your combo chains then it's pretty rewarding. Sometimes you get matched up with people who are on a completely different level than you and when you win against them it's like a million bucks. I don't really want to say "get gud" because, yeah, the beginner experience could be WAY better. But when you're good, it's good. Same thing with phone calls.

i wish to clean other people's emails as meticulously as i have my own, yet i know it would be a sisyphean task; a personal email from a friend a rare gem to receive

Please don’t send these to my wife (non-existent). Email is awesome cause I get scared when anyone sends me one but also it’s where I hear about cool opportunities and receive feedback from my supervisors. In sum, email is a land of contrasts.
