people online are talking again about how this mystery is “solved” but ignoring all the details that don’t align with their theory that it was an “accident”—yes, the family did it. but it was because of their involvement in CSAM rings nationally that have known connections to child pageants. everyone wants to blame the brother and no one wants to talk about the tip called in that led to explicit photos of jonbenet being found on a convicted predator’s laptop. such is the case for many SolvedUnsolved mysteries. sigh….

The Dad did it. The note was supposed to distract the mom, that's why it repeatedly says do not call the police or we'll kill her. That was supposed to buy the dad time to go out of town and "pay the ransom" (dispose of the evidence) without his wife interrupting by calling the police. But she immediately called, and everything after was improv. Case closed. PS Handwriting can never be a smoking gun.
