Big fan of tha first wave stuff

post-rock (mainly in its first wave) and the lesser known oft terminologically misunderstood style ambient pop have been the most latent and potent forms of indie music in my life, parallel to my thinking and feeling, being apparent in my childhood and only really enrapturing me as i fittingly entered my 20s. i thought Tortoise's "Djed" was just so cool when i was 10 years old, and still do but now it's because it is so apparent to me how it is so architectonic and exact in it defining post-rock, all the particularities that fall under it; a now ill-misconstrued trend basically taken as music for stoners going sober.
