the thing about kanye west is he really doesnt have any good songs apart from all of yeezus, all of the lights and a few from 808s & heartbreak, and hes a psycho

@RealLauraDern's favourite Sonic Youth album

my favourite Sonic Youth album, mainly just because of plastic girl

my first Michael Mann movie in light of him shooting himself in the leg at gun range and noirvember starting. wasn't hooked until after half way through but its a stunning, albeit traditional movie, great opening shot of rain and most consistent use of colour

repulsive garbage

this album is cute i guess, has some nice songs on it, very catchy, silly lyrics but doesnt live up to the masterpiece status of heart ep which is the best ep ever made and there was some foreshadowing to heart ep in this which is one of the things i love about her makes it easy to enjoy, from the slightest twist vocal to “can we just make music baby” which both happen to be on twice removed, the song im listening to that prompted me to write this

absolutely love this album, much better than Blue (1971) which i hate. she sings really beautifully on this album and the songs are mostly really charming and lovely
