good for protection but so annoying when it's time to molt

Oh to have a smooth carapace. I almost deduct a half-star solely out of envy. Molting would be a hassle, yes, but worse than shedding skin as dust? I guess getting dye or glue on your hands would be more annoying. Oh well, I am what I am.
