i understand why they strike some as tacky but it's crazy how good they've gotten. youve got to make an arrangement with these if you can find the time and walkin around money to play around with em. i miss it. great fun
11/6/2026you were my first musical hero and still one of my biggest. your work always reminds me why the piano's still my favorite instrument. ragtime still makes me so happy. i swear one day i'll get easy winners down. i used to drive my folks crazy playing your stuff by ear over and over to get it right
11/6/2026so cool you scratch my back i scratch yours and the whole world joins hands
11/6/2026deeply troubled man at best and a truly evil one at worst. but also i think maybe the funniest pop science guy to ever exist. blows all the others out of the water. im obsessed with whatever the fuck was wrong with you
11/6/2026as winsome as an animal gets. other animals are amazing in other different ways but the pig is the winsome animal
11/6/2026god youre complicated. you have like 3 good games. but youre one of the best consoles of all time also
11/6/2026the cool: visionary, exciting, understands the power of shaping the lips in a way we lost after 1990. concurrent with the rise of acting getting the respect it deserves as an art form among average joes the bad: impossible to separate from postwar hysteria about needing to be able to "tell" men from women. only exists in the first place to sell gender. also, many eyebrows would never recover. and this isnt even getting into the insane amounts of radium in lots of this stuff. we didnt need to be poisoning all those girls for that
11/5/2026how do you improve on a shoddy architectural movement that eschews existing conventions of what makes buildings worthwhile by maximalizing aesthetic potential? oh yeah make it ugly
11/5/2026reminds me of disneyworld in that it always draws you in to start, being as playful or imaginative as it is, and then the more you dive in the more you realize it looks that way because someone has to already have very specific and unflattering political inclinations to go whole-hog on the idea of "building that doesnt serve the functions of life"
11/5/2026now this is just tried and true. if youre going to hurt another living thing youd better work hard. it better tax your whole body and force you to deliberate on every stage of taking a life. not the most sophisticated way but highly favored with me for the duress it places on wielder
11/5/2026 · 2 commentshas only ever made the world a worse place. exciting if you dont understand what death is. people who are too excited about these are embarrassing to be around and best avoided
11/5/2026gateway spider. you know how many people ive gotten to stop being scared of spiders w these? tons
11/5/2026as doomed to the quagmire as the name suggests. often sounds great. useful for the ways it will get you to understand all of the ways something may sound good, competent, impressive, and skillful while amounting to little more than a springboard for better work by more interesting people. a wonderful warning to any artist that seeks to establish authority before connection: you are resigning yourself to the status of "geek no one can get along with, but i guess theyre ok at what they do." equally a warning to anyone that values the cerebral as something above and separate from the body. chase the intellectual to trump the body and you'll appeal to neither
11/5/2026dont care for it in the slightest, never have, but i am hypnotically endeared to it because of the way it was packaged and sold at the turn of the century. it was a solid baked sheet that you would break yourself however you deem appropriate. theres just something about the novelty of it that carries it really far for me
11/5/2026beautiful breathtaking foundation and springboard for modernist thinkers that shrank into a wet fart once too much money got involved. thats art baby
11/5/2026equally as mundane commonplace and turbulent as its alternative. there is no grounded position that isnt case by case but people with baggage will try to make it a thing. rest assured you will not encounter polyamory as frequently as you will encounter neurotic plucked-parrots of people insisting that everyone who does it is a sick freak
11/5/2026you are some of the most fascinating bugs in the world to me. you are so clever and social and can survive so much and i think you are so beautiful. unfortunately you are no good to have in a house and cause many health problems for people so no hard feelings but sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do. it isnt your fault. you are so cool. i like that youre related to termites so close
11/5/2026scoring any lower feels like im underselling the cultural impact. scoring any higher makes me feel like im condoning some shit i dont like. its exciting to watch some horses run but we dont need to be pumping them full of all that stuff and naming them like Papa's Lucky Day, or Lickspitter
11/5/2026arent they the cutest. look at the little bulb and tell me thats not a critter. beautiful
11/5/2026saw these go from dingy little tubes with shit results to beautiful machines with massive jumps in quality in 15 years of life. hope to see even more
11/4/2026they were fools to forget you before and god help us theyre fools to forget again lets take this shit home rosa.
11/4/2026valued more than it is intrinsically worth largely FOR, and not IN SPITE OF, how effectively it stops people from doing anything of use in the company of others
11/4/2026less likely to bite you than other versions of these but still is what it is
11/4/2026"ideology of worms" was my first thought but i respect worms and the role they fill so that cant work. useless ideas for selfish people if that is exciting to you
11/4/2026literally not at odds with any other breakfast foods fuck the haters in the comments learn to think bigger or im going to heap my fucking lid
11/4/2026this is one of the ways we can grow together and all benefit from each others presence that does not necessarily even rely on shared affinity or friendship and i like that a lot. we do it a lot as friends too of course but even people who dont jive can want the best for each other as peers and brothers, and i think a shared interest in each other's education is a huge part of that. i think it's one of the ways that kindness can intersect with a sense of cosmopolitan duty
11/3/2026really cool shape when written like 7 i bet its cool other ways too but i dont really know em
11/3/2026literally one of the most powerful and life-sustaining forces on the planet and makes all other aspects of life worth it forever. whats not to love
11/3/2026 · 1 commentthere has never ever ever been another voice like hers. none, ever. ive heard some people posit madeleine peyroux and i guess i almost see where they're coming from, but they're just flat-out wrong. mel torme said holiday's like spinach in that "you don't always like [her voice], but it's always good for you". i really like that way of phrasing it. if you think you know the way a song's "supposed" to be sung, she will remind you as she sings that you were wrong. beauty that washes over you with no friction or snag would leave no impact on you at all. billie sticks with you forever
11/3/2026delicious in tea and on chicken and just about anywhere else you WANT. always makes my joints feel a little better. smooth peppery and the cutest shade of yellow to boot
11/3/2026hi! i have this cardboard thats a little bit sweet and sticky. its 18 dollars. yeah, for the little circle. of the sticky cardboard yeah. do you want this
11/3/2026youve gotta be patient when people are into this stuff because theyve got one foot in two doorways that would both treat them infinitely better but they dont know they deserve something that dignified yet. dont scare them away. you can lead them out of the hazbin pit with the right breadcrumbs. a victory for good taste around the corner if only youll lend them a hand
11/3/2026you did a lot of stuff id argue you shouldnt have in regards to psychological experimentation before clearer ethics guidelines were commonplace, and whats even more frustrating is that this puts you in the very average company of your contemporaries, when you otherwise often showed both capacity and follow-through in working above and beyond their failings of compassion. your appeals to patient dignity and a collaborative relationship at the heart of healing, at a time when the psych profession was new and mostly toddling in the clothes of existing institutions of authority it could most easily borrow from, makes you more special than i would like you to be. i am still grateful for the ways you were special, and will be always
11/3/2026now that the cats been out of the bag for some 150 odd years i concede that we cant go back to not making the stuff. and whats more, i would never in a million years WANT to, for all the miracles it's allowed in the medical+healthcare sector. but god damn if we dont put a moratorium on making cheap stupid bullshit yesterday we are in trouuuubllleeee
11/3/2026as much a testament to the INSANE vivacity and breadth of sound you can achieve w tight unification around the bar as western jazz is a demonstration of more individualist flexing and complexity. this isnt to put them in opposition to each other in the slightest, these are two sides of the jazz horseshoe that complement and underscore each other constantly. when people say that jazz is an american invention, theyre right -- but there is no 60s new jazz, no propelling of global jazz theory into the present, that doesnt rest majorly in the hands of bossa and the voice it established in this beautiful back-n-forth
11/3/2026im not saying im proud of it but im nothing without you. im fucking dirt without you
11/3/2026stock up your shit save your game wail on a huge guy dont get hit. theres some shit we do over and over because you dont need to improve on a perfectly adequate formula. can have the fifth star once we get rid of unskippable pre-boss cutscenes for good
11/3/2026mean nasty vindictive little bitch who never could swallow the horsepill of being a worse, gooier, more pop-oriented alternative to benny goodman. stew in it
11/3/2026dont know if another pianist could ever capture my heart the way he has. i think that combo of passion and charisma that can get a whole room to relax is exceptionally rare. thanks for everything man. you died way way way too young
11/3/2026never had an ounce of skill that other recognized saxophonists didnt have as absolute baseline, and many of them could in fact keep their hands to themselves. hope the hellfire is still painful even after a few decades of sitting in it
11/3/2026i love every part of you and how hard you work and what you do for me but we really have a lot to talk about
11/3/2026you really want them to be better because theyre so skilled and of course youre in their corner because they had to fend off the sneering fucking dudes club that was 80s rock. but when i stare into the abyss it says "you know theyve got 3 good songs" and i dont have it in me to disagree
11/3/2026harder than it needs to be for reasons that are looking pretty superfluous on paper. pretty much the middle stage to whatever the next big thing is
11/3/2026 · 1 commenta rumpkin, a poopbutt, and his mamas boy. dont roll around with poop people like this
11/3/2026difficult to leave an impartial review. you dont want this to happen to you. simultaneously, difficult to discount the finely honed ecological niche on display, by virtue of how often it happens. 3 stars because it doesnt really matter how i feel. parisitoids = too big to fail
11/3/2026wanted to review lower but kept proving myself wrong about this things versatility as i worked down that mental track
11/3/2026we love you for all you do and in a manner so gentle on the human body that no other laxative or fiber supplements could even begin to keep up with you
11/3/2026we can be real and acknowledge the downward trajectory of the banana we cannot stop from happening and how that is terrible BUT dont ever let anyone tell you we arent still in the age of the delicious banana for those who are lucky and patient and open to possibility. a banana so soft and yellow and full of sugar content and not the slightest bit mushy is still within your grasp. i had one yesterday. couldnt believe it
