These are hit or miss. For some users they are a slippery slope into debt. For others they provide great benefits. Sadly the benefits come at the expense of the debt so it can be a slight ethical quandary. Personally I'm a credit card pragmatist and will continue to use them and churn rewards while also supporting broad reforms to reduce the predatory nature of the system

The material and size are more convenient than cash but overall unrealistic as a primary form of currency.
