aoty's userbase seems to have discovered music 2 weeks ago and every other music rating site is a ghost town so wins by default

there's a lot of music you can find from this site. with enough finesse, you can even rate it

I think it deserves the hate it gets, specially for its community, but man is this thing just so much better than AOTY.

Great source for finding music but I find that interacting with the community can be very hit or miss

I enjoy rating my music. It's actually an incredibly helpful site for me. It's very satisfying to catalogue albums and to find interesting, obscure artists that I wouldn't be able to find on Spotify, Bandcamp, etc.

really great to discover new music but you completely need to ignore the shitty moderators or how boring and racist and snobby and pretentious and annoying most of the users are or literally anything review/forum-related (which is funny for a site named rate your music but i swear it'll be so much better)
