cheefukeefuhaha funny triangle spinny dorito motor. what a fucking marvel of automotive history. mazda had balls being the only manufacturer to mass produce a rotary. it's not like today where every brand feels like they need to do EVs and plug-in hybrids, etc. the closest thing we have to this is Toyota taking a massive leap of faith on the Mirai with its hydrogen fuel cell tech. but this on the other hand has a different aura, a lot of which definitely stems from being a dedicated sports car (grand tourer?).
