cacophonousPhil is quite possibly the most brilliant lyricist and musician of my lifetime. The music he's produced for Mount Eerie and the Microphones is so beautiful and strikes me deeper every time I relisten to their albums. I've listened to him since I was 13. His music has undoubtedly been a foundational part of my growth as a person. Seeing him live at Union Transfer last year was a very deeply emotional experience.
