alecan amazing film and work of satire. i think people struggle with allowing themselves to question their own feelings towards protagonists who are less than moral, which is understandable but ultimately uneducated. alex is not meant to be rooted for, yet you are supposed to feel bad for him. i think the dichotomy is actually really poignant! i wish more work would make you feel this way.
