when i was in 7th grade, i developed awful episodic acid reflux. the only thing that really helped with it, at the time, was puking. so i'd puke until it went away. i told my doctor about this years later, and it was chocked up to anxiety and diet issues. later that week i was hospitalized with severe gallstones bordering on infection.
11/7/2026such a devastating book and eventual movie. i wish more of this made it into the movie adaptation, i feel like a lot of homoerotic moments between rizzo and joe were unfortunately lost.
11/7/2026a product of a teenage breakup that still resonates almost 60 years on. i like when todd plays it live, even though it's basically a contractual obligation at this point.
11/7/2026a song that twists my stomach. behind its synth love song facade lies a tale of social anxiety that almost hits too close to home. i never feel like garbage when i'm with you with you with youuuuu.
11/7/2026i wish i could've been friends with all the strange creatures that appeared. i wish things like this still happened, i wish we still had trilobites.
11/7/2026an amazing film and work of satire. i think people struggle with allowing themselves to question their own feelings towards protagonists who are less than moral, which is understandable but ultimately uneducated. alex is not meant to be rooted for, yet you are supposed to feel bad for him. i think the dichotomy is actually really poignant! i wish more work would make you feel this way.
11/7/2026love these guys but unfortunately looking at them too hard makes me feel sick. i hope to overcome this one day.:(
11/7/2026i look like this. no, but i do truly love the tully monster. i find it incredibly fascinating, and the amount of research that's done and continues to and will always continue to be done in just 70 years is amazing. i hope we get to understand it fully one day.
11/7/2026i usually don't like erotic art, which is probably a byproduct of my schizoid personality disorder, but i find this to be a very moving piece. the tenderness of their gazes paired with the feeling of anticipation makes it almost sweet in my mind.
11/7/2026utopia, as well as todd's other projects, have changed my life. i got into them mainly due to needing some sort of outlet during a depressive period, and, seeing as i'm still alive nearly 3 years on, i'd say it was effective. "set me free" was an instant earworm that left me scrambling to listen to more. i'm especially fond of their album deface the music, evidently. what a fun band.
11/7/2026i love collecting records. i love trudging through record stores to try and find just the right one i've been searching for for ages. i don't succeed at this often, but it's still fun. i like the smell of old records too, but that might be mold infecting my brain.
11/7/2026growing up, i wasn't the most fond of dr pepper. i'm not sure why, it tasted fine to me. maybe i just associated it too heavily with my brother whom i despised. i've come to have a newfound appreciation for it after moving out; it's one of the few sodas i drink nowadays. also fond of cherry dr pepper. yay
