VelvetRobotone of my first horror films that wasn't some manner of parody or deconstruction (e.g. Cabin in the Woods, Scream). those movies were good in their own right but this one's a cultural touchstone. really like the cinematography and sense of narrative tension, though i could do without all the ableist rhetoric :/ jamie lee curtis slays
