PernicusIt's fine. Orwell's insightfulness and imagination are the main merits. The romance is poorly done though, and it renders the characters and their drama much less believable and much less compelling. Besides that, Orwell's fairly plain prose is not interesting enough to elevate the book beyond 2.5 stars.
