JackProfoundI agree that it is necessary and overall is good for society. I have very strong and vivid memories of my childhood orthodontist Doctor Spradley, and the way he smelled. His receptionist was warm and kind. I feel that my mother relished turning the key in the palate spreader he installed in my mouth in a way that was somewhat sadistic. I am not going to let my personal experiences cloud my review of the concept.
