11/5/2026impressive animation and voice acting for an indie production that was absolutely fucking wasted by becoming victim to the showrunner's yaoi obsession. i'm glad that we all want to grill that fucking bird alive like he's gonna be served at mang inasal. tang ina mo stolas.
11/5/2026excellent track. its arrangement and instrumentation are perfect for its melody and the vocal performance of maggie reilly. the gentle guitar and pad synths provide a strong foundation for her ethereal voice instead of overpowering it. the composition and production paired with its lyrics tell such a vivid story of loss. elevated heavily by the new verse and the buildup towards it in the 12" extended version. accomplishes everything it set out to do. not overdone, not undercooked. 5/5
11/5/2026deeply maligned and misunderstood. a beautiful and powerful little animal, spoken ill of for defending itself and its nest. i only wish it was found in my area. 5/5
11/5/2026gorgeous little creature found in and named after my family's ancestral province. it's more like family to me than a dinosaur. 5/5
11/5/2026i like this one, sorry. they're sending me straight to hell for logging this right after beethoven.
11/5/2026 · 1 commentone of those works of art that makes you a little mad because everyone says it's the best thing ever, and you think to yourself "surely it's at least SOMEWHAT overrated", but it really is as good as everyone says it is. this was my first ever favorite "song" at the grand old age of 3, and the first song i'd taught myself on the piano by ear within the same year. the story of beethoven turning to see the crowd's applause makes me tear up every time. a triumph of the western canon. 5/5
11/5/2026i'd been a passive fan of abba growing up, what with my 70's kid mother blasting their music at every opportunity, but this is the track that truly made me fall in love with their discography. the composition and arrangement instantly gripped me. the production is perfect, layers of vocal harmonies and instrument lines weaving into an energetic disco hymn about begging to be loved. 5/5.
