saved my life, i think? thai genes gave me a 5head and coupled with the fact that my mom liked rock lee, i spent my earlier years with blunt ass bangs that made me look like lord farquard. complicated relationship with them; i’d get them maybe once per sometime (a year or two) only to regret them almost immediately the hair left my head. now that i know how to style them, they’ve definitely left a better impression in my books. unsure if the current state is giving yukari from parakiss (hence the profile picture) or chiikawa when they got their hair cut. for my mental health, i’ll say it’s giving yukari ^_^

the night sky will always be more beautiful to me than the sunrise and sunset. one day i hope to be able to stargaze somewhere quiet next to someone important to me. been listening to khiao lueang daeng by pun a lot, and i’ve come to love the night sky even more. the entire song talks about spending the night with the one you love (getting high), that they look the best when they can barely get their words out, when their eyes are red, that the sky is breathtaking, but it doesn’t compare to the beauty of the one you love. if my dream date ever happens, remind me to soft launch them with the caption “the sky is so beautiful, but i only have eyes for you”.

this gets a 5/5 for me because it’s such a goated line, easy access to namba, umeda, and tennoji. not to forget the 247 women’s only carriages which saved my ass during The solo trip of august 2026. not much to say other than i really like the midosuji line.

and if i say this is in my top 3 places in the world, and it’s not 2 or 3, then what. i love this place so much, i am filled with nothing but joy when i think of kaiyukan. i am soso grateful to have experienced night time kaiyukan in the middle of spring, and day time kaiyukan in the peak of japan summer. the layout of the aquarium is perfect, the ice cream store in the middle is amazing, and the animals are of course, incredible. my highlight would be the seals and they’re the only reason i look forward to nearing the end of the aquarium. i won’t forget coming here on my solo trip and waiting in line with elementary schoolers just to get my book stamped. pro tip: the gift shop after exiting on the first floor is goated and better than the one inside of the aquarium.

i don’t believe in god; but if there’s anyone or anything looking out for me, it would never be a man. when something good happens and i think “how lucky am i”, i envision a glowing female entity, one that’s around my age but slightly older, and she just gets me. sometimes i thank the universe and she’s probably giving me a pat on the back from wherever she is, and i appreciate her. i never understand people who thank god for “curing an illness”, like. there’s an explanation and it’s science. and people. Like, real physical people who you can touch, people who feel emotions, who saved your life. there is no god’s plan, only yours. 0.5 because i can’t give a 0.

if i could give it 6 stars, i would. udon has broken the scale and rearranged my world. if you asked me what i wanted to eat, maybe 3 out of 5 times udon would be my answer. it’s chewy, comes in thick or thin, and is everything ramen wishes it could be.

i have the most limited knowledge of thai as a language because reading and writing is like that one speed gif to me; but i’m relatively goated at translating based on context and vibes. i only know a few phrases but here are my top 3: - khit teung: (i miss you) i used to only know this as a term of affection/endearment because my mom would say it in a sweet way. never to me though - nang fa: (angel) not proud of it but i only learnt this word through a wmaf couple talking about thai words the boyfriend knew. now its one i know too. - pen kon tee ter ror: (the one you’re waiting for) learnt this because i was obsessed with tuidui by yented when it came out in september. i just wanna be pen kon tee ter ror :/ -1 because it’s really hard to me ><

timeless, iconic, heart wrenching, a song that i play when im on either extreme end of the emotion spectrum ♡ there’s only one person i think of when this song comes on and i regret never being able to have said it; we both knew we loved the song though, so maybe we both knew how much it meant to us. i wish i could’ve told you i heard it live, and i wish you could’ve been there with me 🪽
