Not only is it a strong acid, but it’s also a ridiculously powerful oxidizing agent, which allows it to perform a host of cool tasks, such as burning away most nonmetals in a flash by oxidizing them, it can fucking bring *gold* into solution when mixed with HCl, it just does so much. Also makes explosives. Legend of the sport
