schizoid city. depressing. a horrorshow that exists to prove that money and development are not enough to sustain a person: we need joy and we need comfort, two things Lausanne does not offer. A: 1 (gets 0.5 for collection d'art brut and the MCBA each. food is mid and expensive. the strip clubs next to the station are the only things open after 18. having fun is forbidden in Lausanne) B: 1 (its beauty is entirely dependent on the lake, which is gorgeous, but you can go to literally anywhere else near the lake) H: 0 (phantasmagoric. no one lives there and if they do they must be on prozac. it's soulless) M: 2 (having a metro should be an obligation for any rich european city but they get 1 point for being the only swiss city to have one. buses are ok. walking is ok. you can take the train and go somewhere else so that's good) S: 3 (sketchy as hell but it's Switzerland)
