Grape-Nuts

I am proud to have inherited a love of grapenuts from my mother and her mother before her. With cold milk even though I'm scared for my teeth. With hot milk like a porridge. Grapenut ice cream. Grapenut custard.

I want to turn my bowl into a cement truck, yeah mix the substrate with milk and chew up the delicious payload. It’s flavor somehow isn’t bland. It’s like if they made the rye chip from Chex mix into a cereal, delicious. Only downside is that it’s not too fun to eat in large quantities without milk

dont care for it in the slightest, never have, but i am hypnotically endeared to it because of the way it was packaged and sold at the turn of the century. it was a solid baked sheet that you would break yourself however you deem appropriate. theres just something about the novelty of it that carries it really far for me
