"Sandwich" was a concept popularized in 18th-century England, named after John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich. I likely own my life to this man for that. It really doesn't matter how you make your eggs here, fried or boiled, omelette or shakshuka, you CAN fit it in-between bread loafs. If you can make an egg, you can make a sandwich with it. Beautiful.
