Halo: Combat Evolved

i played this with my ex stepbrother and i felt like a normal kid for once

One of the first games I remember ever playing. A formative game series for me, but this one started it all. Less is really more. I have many fond memories playing around with the massive sandboxes of the later titles (specifically Halo 3 and Halo Reach), but revisiting this game really makes me appreciate how (mostly) well thought out the entire sandbox is from weapons, enemies, and how those weapons interact with each enemy type. I only say mostly well thought out because obviously being able to one shot Hunters on Legendary with the pistol due to their skin being considered a "headshot" point was obviously unintended for enemies that are presented as a mini-boss type deal. Still giving it the 5 stars for being an essenti start for me.
