Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan

and if i say this is in my top 3 places in the world, and it’s not 2 or 3, then what. i love this place so much, i am filled with nothing but joy when i think of kaiyukan. i am soso grateful to have experienced night time kaiyukan in the middle of spring, and day time kaiyukan in the peak of japan summer. the layout of the aquarium is perfect, the ice cream store in the middle is amazing, and the animals are of course, incredible. my highlight would be the seals and they’re the only reason i look forward to nearing the end of the aquarium. i won’t forget coming here on my solo trip and waiting in line with elementary schoolers just to get my book stamped. pro tip: the gift shop after exiting on the first floor is goated and better than the one inside of the aquarium.
