strangelotusmy cat miso is a golden black shaded british shorthair. she's huge—heavy but also has a large frame—but shrinks 90% when she's bathed. i love that people say we look alike. i've grown to love my bleached hair with unretouched roots because it reminds me of her fur. i love her weight on my chest, i love her little huffs and i love seeing her little body exhale, even if it's because i'm bothering her and she's letting out a deep sigh. i love that she tolerates me cuddling her for a bit and that she only stays on my chest when i give her a reason to (petting her). i love petting her soft belly. she is my favorite thing in the entire world. i don't know what i'd do without her.
