During the 2020 lockdown I got into my head the idea of becoming someone who drank black coffee, which tasted like dirt but worse at the time. Over the course of the year I spent in almost complete isolation, I drank nothing but Folgers coffee every day, without so much as sugar. Despite the taste, despite the lockdown, despite the way my life has turned out, I did manage to make myself like black coffee, so.

Looks like it hurts but it also looks beast so it’s a nuanced issue.
