naïvewhen i worked at a summer camp i used the name Moray as my camp name. i was only a cook, not really one of those summer camp people, if you know what i mean, there for a paycheck not for the love of the sport. anyway i chose it because i had just read "Paul Takes the Form of a Mortal Girl" and there was a poem in that book about Moray Eels that I liked. anyway a lot of people thought my name was "Mornay" like a cheesy bechamel sauce. which makes sense i worked in the kitchen i guess and they sound quite similar said aloud. AND my manager was someone who like worked on cruises and had apparently also gone diving and specifically didn't like those eels. she was a very bad manager as well. anyway these animals are pretty cool.
