High highs, LOW lows. When the host can be heard clearly, the questions are just the right difficulty, and the drinks are flowing? Oooh mama. But often you are subjected to a host who thinks the mid-10s TV show they watched is common knowledge or some other equally frustrating crap. If you find a good one sink your claws into it and never let go, but never hesitate to just leave if you're not feeling it.

Ultimate rib stickin' food. Made a big batch yesterday for some friends who just had a baby to make sure that baby knows what's up, even if she only gets to experience it via the slight taste variance it causes in her mom's milk.

Took place in a school in West Philadelphia. I was handed a long strip of semi-gloss paper with a notched corner and sent to a booth with a half-length curtain covering the entrance. Inserted my paper into a slot and made my 3 candidate selections and 2 ballot question selections on a touchscreen. Then the machine swallowed my large strip of paper, printed my selections on it and then redisplayed the paper to me. I submitted it again at which point the paper was swallowed and the touchscreen displayed a large American flag and said Thank You. I got a nice sticker with a drawing of the top of city hall on it and then I left. Primary emotion throughout the process was mild self-satisfaction. Perfunctory but still somewhat meaningful.
