Saw a production of this in London starring Ralph Fiennes and it was amazing. They built the stage in a wharf hangar. When I entered the building, they checked my ticket and were selling merchandise, snacks, and drinks. I walked into the theatre and there was a vestibule before the seating that was decorated to look like an outdoor scene with a wrecked car. All of the actors' performances were amazing and I loved the technical elements, especially the thrust orientation that lended itself to interesting entrances/exits and scenes that took place on the stairs in the audience. Right before intermission, the walls on the back of the stage had some sort of mechanism that released 'blood' that ran down in drips. Very dramatic, I loved it. Near the end, during the battles, the back scrim opened and you could see the outdoor scene behind the stage that you walked through to enter the theater. At some point there were some pyrotechnics that you could see through the opening that made it look like the car exploded and caught on fire. Awesome. Anyway, the show was amazing. 5 stars.
