Act of faith. Everything is an act of faith, when I have faith. Burn at the stake and smoking flesh carries away impiety which the fish and the birds ingest where the drifting wind meets the sea. Dust feeds the earth and blood seeps through the hungry cracks in ecclasia.

I talked about this today. People don't really like it when bodies look different, mutilated, is this mutilated? Pronating bones cut loose into the man-made limb. I wonder how many other bones and joints and muscles can be repurposed so... artificially. Why put foreign material in, on, or on top of flesh when the limbs of the mind reach for tactile proof that the eyes aren't deceiving them and the ears aren't faulty and the rest of the senses are as abstract as ever? The world is stereognostic.

I was inspired by thechildofeye's review of stains to write this. I don't think I am very opinionated on stains but they are not alike at all with scars. A rip, dent, hole, etc may be a thing's equivalent of a scar, maybe, but not a stain. Scars may seem more destructive, and they may be of physicality but a stain is far more destructive on the essence of a thing. Stitch a scar, fill a dent and mend it whole again, but you can't do that with a stain; a stained surface looks, smells and feels different no matter how topologically unchanged, olfactory death has come for it.

Interesting one. I like looking at one of these when I go to my local city art/science museum which I will lose my student discount to soon. But she looks at me like she knows me, or accuses me of something. Her eyes are closed but the bulging of the eyelids communicate everything an eye can. Cast eyes behind cast eyelids telling me something from behind the display. If that had an article maybe I would write under that too. I would want one cast for myself but I fear I might look too dead when I die, but a mask doesn't die. Maybe I should go see her.

Has to be one of my most personal bodily fluids. It doesn't facilitate blood or run through you like urine but it has its phlegmatic place in one's body. Beautiful word. I will come back to this when I have more to say.
