My parents had a computer cabinet with doors that would close and hide away the whole set up. My older sister used to play Sims 2 a lot, and she left the game running once and closed the doors. The sound of disembodied Simlish frightened my 5 year old mind so much that I didn't go near the cabinet for at least a year.

I enjoy the way it makes me feel.
