My parent’s friends spoke ominously about ‘the mountain’ when I moved here during rainy season. “The mountain isn’t out today,” or “have you seen the mountain yet?” I hiked many mountains on Arizona so the amazement confused me, but I understood why this one was ‘the mountain’ once the fog cleared.
