faiztasticwikipedia appears not to have a listing for greek yogurt. anyway. i tend to think of food as either the parcel or the package. the parcel is the one who carries the flavor, usually a starch of some sort. i allow roasted chana, greek yogurt, oatmeal and rice to be my parcels. the purpose of a parcel is texture and to be accomodating. sort of like shelley duvall's role in the shining. (less leonine, however). Like danny "doc" torrance, i find myself experiencing a shine whenever I eat greek yogurt. Since going vegetarian, it is a primary mode of protein consumption; and its ability to hold black salt and red lentils, or blueberries and honey makes it a beautiful base. Usually, I enjoy making a drink with cucumber juice and the drained liquid in a little glass with some ice. When the greek yogurt is not made at home, my mother uses (what i assume) is a pretty exploitative Amazon service to get it delivered within 10 minutes without a delivery fee. These days I am left wondering what the catch is. 1/2 a star off for being dairy. Project veganism hasn't happened yet.
