Tree squirrel

This is a tree-dwelling squirrel which breeds in the treetops. It always lives in trees. And as for its being called quauhtechalotl, it eats everything—pine nuts, the tender ends of tree [branches], and tree worms. It goes about barking the trees there where the tree worms are. It whistles shrilly.
