just so cynical. if you dont know this guy his deal is that the whole internet is to him a "lolcow" and so he variously portrays different aspects of it as disgusting and cloying and naive and prurient and too absurd to believe. not my style. im not scared of what happens on here. this is where i grew up

well i feel the humor comes from a place of disgust. plenty of good jokes to go around but i dont think this guy has any stored up

no ok wait i remember one time he played sound effects from his macbook over the phone to pretend like he was in a car crash or something. that was very good. the rating will improve

@canaryswear idk i was a big fan of son loaf. I never felt the malice towards lolcows that you seem to be seeing, I always saw his work as a parody of influencer culture, a man blessed with virality on a few occaisions always chasing last week's high. He tries new stuff just enough that the ongoing performance doesn't become stale. It's funny because he keeps doing it. Blue guy was only funny because the green gentleman proceeded it.

@maplebacontree no no its the malice of the person who creates the lolcow, but directed towards many more things and types of people that are (intentionally) not always coherent. the stuff where he paints himself one color and goes in front of the camera i feel is tapping into the part of my brain / sense of humor that also attracted me to "chris chan" in high school. in general i dont find it fun when the joke is just that someone is acting strangely and embarrassingly

rating update one good joke is not enough
