I've always felt just a little bit of a homophobic funk coming off of J.G. Ballard's stuff, so it was a relief that this movie made bisexuality look cool and hot. It's got mf couplings, an ff coupling, an mm coupling, AND a character who fujos out about the mm coupling 🩷💜💙

castration jokes tend to be bad and unfunny and I think more movies should have characters getting castrated as central parts of the plot so that maybe we can get a few good castration jokes in the mix for once

The acting doesn't save the story, the music doesn't save the acting, the cast doesn't save the music. It's not really a "good" movie. But it knows it's there to entertain, and it pulls out all the stops to put on a show for the alt-goth threatre-kid/adult in you.
