bananacupcakegirli used to get home from middle school after a long bus ride with my earbuds in when it was cold outside. i’d go into the house and put a pot on the stove and start adding cocoa powder, sugar, and just a few tablespoons of milk to make the chocolate syrup, and then i’d add the rest of the milk after the syrup thickened. stir it a little bit and find the can of whipped cream in the fridge and the red and green sprinkles in the cabinet that were probably years old. i did this a lot
